School's nearly out and I'm thinking about what the Boy Wonder and I will be getting up to for the next six weeks. Maybe that's what made me want to stamp up this Stamping Bella image; it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday!
I've kept the whole thing pretty CAS. I coloured the image with Copics and just added a strip of ribbon. Simples!
I thought I'd enter this card into the challenge at Cupcake, which is Not for Flowers.
Enjoy your Saturday evening!

Favourite Colour Combo
It's time for another challenge over at Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia! This fortnight it's all about your favourite colour combination. So what's yours?
If you're anything like me, your favourite colour combo will change depending on the time of year, the last lot of papers you bought and what's in your stash! At the moment, I'm loving lilac and white, so I made this...
I used the beautiful papers in the Maja Design Spring collection and edged everything with Walnut Stain ink. The flowers and ribbon are from the Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts. Tilda has been coloured with DIs and Distress Markers and I've splashed a bit of Frantage about the place again!
I really hope you can join in with our challenge - why not hop over here to see the fabulous inspiration cards my teamies have made? There's a GDT post going for one lucky winner, so why not give it a go?
Enjoy your day!

Cute 'n' Cuddly
Another Saturday, another challenge! This week at Sweet Stampin' our theme is Cute & Cuddly. We're being sponsored by the Stamp Fairy, who have kindly given the DT some digis to use.
I wanted to make something fairly CAS but not too plain, so went for a centre step card.
I used Prima double sided paper as it's quite thick and sturdy. Once the card was cut all I need to do was add some seam binding, pearls and some daisy lace trim, all from my stash. I coloured the Stamp Fairy digi with Copics.
Do come on over and join in the fun at Sweet Stampin' this week! The Team Abi Sweeties have made some fabby cute & cuddly creations to inspire you, so grab a cuppa and take a look!
Have a lovely day.

Cute 'n' cuddly - check. Non-traditional colours - check.
It's time for a new challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' and we have quite a theme for you this month: Cute 'n' Cuddly with non-traditional colours. Now that's what I call a challenge - and challenge me, it certainly did!
I opted for a cute Lili of the Valley image but what about the non-traditional colours? Luckily an old MME Christmas pad came to the rescue and I found this aqua paper, which was just the job. I coloured the wee bear with Copics and added plenty of glitter in the form of Stickles to the tinsel boa. I put some crackle glaze on the baubles, although you can't really see it.
I kept the embellies to a minimum - a Memory Box die for the bow and aqua pearls in each corner. I mucked up the sentiment, so I don't know if you can see it! It's a bit clearer in real life but really doesn't show up as well as I thought it would!
Hope you can join us at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' this month. We're being sponsored by Flatfriends who have 4 digis to give away to our randomly chosen winner. Why not grab a cuppa and hop over to see what the wonderful Christmas Sweeties have made to inspire you?
Have a great rest-of-the-week!

A Sketch at Sweet Stampin'
Good morning everyone! I'm here to tell you about our latest challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This week we have a fabulous sketch for you to follow:
I really enjoyed working with this sketch, especially as it's been a while since I've used one. Here's what I made:
I used Maja Designs paper from the Vintage Spring collection. I don't often use blue, but I love the soft tones in these papers. Tilda has been stamped onto watercolour card and coloured with DIs and Distress Markers. I used some of the postmark stamps from an earlier Magnolia collection, stamping them with Weathered Wood ink around the image. I also sprinkled a tiny bit of Frantage around the image mat, just because! I added a doily behind the image and some chipboard corners, painted with Picket Fence paint, at the top of the card. The sentiment is from a Penny Black sticker sheet that is years old and the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Do hop over to Sweet Stampin' to check out the gorgeous creations the Team Abi Sweeties have made to inspire you. We're being sponsored by the lovely Krista at Saturated Canary and she's giving away 2 digis to our randomly chosen winner. Plus we have the fabulous Ribbon Girl sponsoring our monthly prize draw! Hope you can join in with us this week!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Midweek Magnolias - Anything Goes + optional Vintage/Frantage
Marvelous Magnolias - Anything Goes
Totally Tilda - Going Postal
Tilda's Town - Anything Goes
Have a great weekend!
Hugs
