Use Numbers at Sweet Stampin'

At Sweet Stampin' this fortnight we'd like you to use numbers in your design.

For my DT card I wanted to use lots of gold and opted to stamp my background and use die cut numbers.

I stamped my much loved Pinkfresh Studio background and heat embossed in gold on white cardstock.  I had a pre-cut A2 size piece of gold card in my scrap box so I used this as a mat for the stamped image.

I cut 3 numbers in white and layered them together before adding a top layer cut in gold.  I used liquid glue to make sure the layers stayed stuck but had a bit of an ooze-based disaster and ended up having to add another gold layer on top.  At least there's plenty of dimension, I suppose 😂.

Taking the photo proved tricky as the gold card is very shiny, although it looks a bit flat and tarnished here!

Why not hop over to the Sweet Stampin' challenge blog to check out the fab designs the Sweeties have made to inspire you?  Hope you can play along!

Hi Tracey, Fabulous indeed! So elegant and I love the gold, it's wonderful.

Thanks as well for popping over to my old bloggy blog, I was born in London (Bethnal Green to be precise!) and lived there until my parents moved into Essex when I was fairly little. We regularly went into London right up until I moved away though, as all my parents family lived there - Russell Square, Walthamstow, Isle of Dogs, all the good East End places! We're very common!!
